Happy birthday, Gus! The nice thing about animals is that they don’t know it’s their birthday, so they’re always excited when you give them something and never disappointed when you don’t. The nice thing about cats is that they always figure they’re entitled to whatever you give them anyway, so the pressure is basically off. Does Gus still play with toys?
Hahahahha, this comment cracked me up. Gus still plays with everything: toys, Ruby’s tail, my clothes, the bathtub, the rug in the hallway, loose change . . . you follow me. He’s terrible. I love him.
